Fans Across the Water

I made this pic in response to this journal by --> This Is InfuriatingI'm going to take a break from promoting Nineteen-Ninety-Something for a minute to talk seriously about something that's been blowing up all over Tumblr this week, something that makes me sick the more I think about it.
So apparently, Steven Universe fans hate My Little Pony fans. One of the moderators on Equestria Daily announced recently that he was going to start a Steven Universe site in the same vein, a hub for news, fan art, and other assorted fun stuff. This made the SU fandom flip its collective shit, with an explosive outcry that basically amounted to "Fuck off, neckbeards, don't bring your pony porn into our fandom." Clearly, the brony reputation precedes them. It got so bad that the EQD mod in question immediately trashed his plans for the new site, not wanting to invoke any full-scale fandom wars.
I've talked before about how squicked out I am by the darker side of the MLP:FIM fandom, and how the elitist cloppers who whine about the show not pandering to them scream lo

In short, for a few weeks there has been a Tumblr war between Bronies and fans of "Steven Universe". The journal will explain the circumstances. This has left him frustrated by the pettiness of the fans of both series. So, I made this pic to cheer him up a little.
